Welcome to Bangalore International School Library (Online Public Access Catalog)
BIS has over 32,000 books and multimedia resources, including audio cassettes, videos, DVDs, and CDs. This library is well equipped with course books, novels, reference materials, encyclopedias, journals, and newspapers for all age groups and abilities, from ages 3 to 18.
The library has 25 laptops for students to read e-books and materials online. It is a book lover's paradise with novels, magazines, encyclopedias, and subject-specific books. The friendly librarians are always willing to offer a helping hand to students who want to use the library. Additionally, there is a storytelling room for Kindergarten kids. The library is a compulsory period from Grade 1 to Grade 8.
The library is efficiently managed by trained librarians who not only update the reading rooms but also provide guidance to students regarding books and project work.
Our library serves the dual purpose of leisure reading and enrichment for both students and teachers. It is equipped with a good collection of resources that support the Cambridge and IB curriculum. The library is located on the 1st floor, and the working hours are 7:45 am to 4:30 pm from Monday to Friday
